Two complete racing-seasons have now passed for the EVO and over these two years it has been tested, tortured and brought to its limits under world cup conditions by the SRAM-Nicolai team riders. During this period it was subject to a permanent process of redesign and refinement. In the first year the EVO was not for sale to the public. In the second year it was available but only as a strictly limited edition ‚race only’ frame with a limited warranty. But after Joris Bigoni has become French champion 2006 on his EVO the demand for this champion’s tool has put the pressure on us to get it into full production. The demands and expectations for our top model were great: a frame weight that can compete with derailleur drive frames, a superior suspension and unlimited durability. That’s why we‘re just a little bit proud of being able to produce the EVO 2007: mature, race ready, no restrictions on usage and with a 5 year warranty under competition conditions.
